Defining Ingredients of Recipe For a Homemade Pound Cake

Eggs: Take eggs at room temperature if you are baking pound cake at home then follow every steps of recipe to get the desired results .

Flour: take good-quality flour that is fresh. Because old-stocked flour will not make the homemade pound cake fresh, cake batter prepared from old-stocked flour tastes slightly sour or bitter.

Milk: Take boiled milk and cool it at room temperature. When cooled, use it in the traditional pound cake recipe.

Sugar: Before starting to bake the pound cake, take granulated sugar and measure it. Then, grind it in a grinder and convert it into a lighter form. Because if you put it as granulated sugar in a pound cake, the cake will not rise and its recipe will e wrong. Ground sugar is light, so it will make cake batter lightweight so that it may rise properly.

Butter: take unsalted butter in baking so it may not differ from the cake flavor. Try to take butter at room temperature (softened form). It will make the cake batter fluffy.

Vanilla: The best thing is taking pure vanilla, enriched with flavor and fragrance. But if it is unavailable, you can use vanilla essence as an alternative.
