How to Make Homemade Strawberry Cake
Sweet, red, and juicy, strawberries are one of nature’s best treats. Besides being an excellent source of vitamin C and manganese, they also contain some folate (vitamin B9) and potassium. There may be benefits to heart health and blood sugar control from strawberries, which are rich in antioxidants and plant compounds.

⦁ 12 tbsp of vegetable oil
⦁ 1 Cup of Strawberry purree
⦁ 2 large eggs, at room temperature
⦁ 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
⦁ 1 tsp – vanilla essence
⦁ 12 tbsp of unsalted butter, melted
⦁ Two pinches of baking soda
⦁ 2 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
⦁ 1 cup of sugar granulated
⦁ 1/2cup of Milk as needed (room temperatures).
Whip Cream Topping:
⦁ Whipping cream 2 cups
⦁ Icing sugar half cup
Strawberry Purree Glaze:
⦁ Red food color 1 pinch
⦁ Sugar 1/2cup
⦁ Water 1/4cup
⦁ Strawberry puree 1 cup
⦁ Cornflour 1 tbsp
⦁ All dry ingredients, such as flour, baking powder, baking soda, and baking powder, should be incorporated quickly.
⦁ A 9-inch round cake pan will be required. Butter or oil can be used for greasing—place parchment paper on the bottom and butter or oils on the top—Preheat the oven to 350°F (176C).
⦁ Mix eggs one at a time with granulated sugar. Mix in cooking oil and melted butter. Beat well.
⦁ Add the dry ingredients slowly with a spatula to create a smooth mixture. Use four parts to break up the mixture. If the mixture becomes too dry, you can add milk to soften it. Mix in the vanilla extract, Strawberry puree, and lemon juice.
Next, pour the batter into the greased mold. Depending on your oven’s heat, the baking time may take between 50 and 55 minutes.
⦁ After baking the cake, allow it to cool down for a few minutes. Place the cake on a cooling rack and remove parchment paper.
Cream Topping preparation:
⦁ Use an electric mixer to beat chilled whipping cream at medium speed for approximately 2 to 4 minutes or until it becomes creamy.
⦁ Mix in the icing sugar and beat it for a few minutes until it becomes firm.
⦁ Mix in the vanilla extract and beat for another 2 minutes. To chill, place in the freezer.
Strawberry Glaze Preparation:
Mix all ingredients and continue to stir the whisk on a low flame. Turn off the flame and let it thicken. Then, allow it to cool.
The strawberry glaze is now ready. Let it cool.
⦁ Slice the cake half, then spread the whipping cream frosting on each half. Cover it with the second layer. Spread the frosting again on top of the cake and use a spatula to spread it.
⦁ Spread the remaining frosting on the sides of your cake using a butter knife or small spatula.
⦁ You can pipe the frosting into a cake decorating nozzle bag. You can decorate the top layer of the cake by adding swirls to the edges.
⦁ Spread Strawberry Glaze on the center of the cake and spread it with a spatula.
