How to Make Christmas Cake in Microwave
Ingredients:
Baking soda – ½ tsp
Nuts – 3 tablespoon (Walnuts & Almonds are preferable)
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1 ½ cups
Dates syrup / Honey / Molasses – 6 tblspn
Dried Fruits – ½ cup Raisans, Dates, Tutti Fruity, Cherry, Sultanas
Cocoa – 4 tablespoon
Sugar – ½ cup
Oil – ½ cup
Water – more than ½ cup
Instructions
Put water in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for a minute.
Stir the dried fruits and nuts in this hot water and let it soak for five minutes.
Mix flour, cocoa, baking soda in a seperate bowl.
Mix the soaked dried fruits, sugar, oil, and dates syrup together.
Combine the flour mix with this and take a whisk to combine all this mixture. You can also use a stand mixer to do this perfectly.
Apply oil to all sides of a microwave-safe bowl. Whenever there is too much batter, just fill half of it.
Microwave for 2 minutes and 30 seconds or to 3 minutes. As soon as it’s done. Let it stand for 5 minutes.
If it has risen excessively, just pat it down slightly.
Then put the remaining batter in another greased microwave safe bowl and start baking it with the same procedure.
Let the cake cool completely before using it .
Afterwards, invert the cake and slice it.
