This cake is prepared with green tea powder also named as matcha.ย

Ingredients:
- eggs- 3
- white sugar- ยพ cupย
- Honey -1 tablespoonย
- all-purpose flour- ยพ cup
- baking powder- 1 teaspoonย
- green tea powder (matcha)- 1 tablespoonย
- cold water- ยผ cup
Procedure:
- Grease the 9 inch round cake mold and place butter paper in it. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- Take a stand mixer and pour the eggs in its bowl. Start beating the eggs on medium speed until they become fluffy and double sized in volume.ย
- Then gradually mix in the sugar, honey and beat it for 1 minute. Then add, flour, baking powder, green tea powder, and water in that order, beat for 20 seconds approximately.
- Pour the batter into prepared cake pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes.ย
- Then do a toothpick test to check if its done.
- Take out from oven and let it cool down for 1 hour until you prepare frosting.
Frosting Preparation:
- You can check my Vanilla cake recipe in which i have frosted my cake with butter cream frosting.
- Use the same frosting recipe for this cake and add green food color in buttercream frosting and the mix it.ย
- Then frost this green tea cake usa style with green buttercream frosting and make white flowers with white frosting , using a piping bag, over it.ย
