Easy Bake Oven Recipes Red velvet cake is famous in south us; it’s a version of vanilla + chocolate cake with additional ingredients like buttermilk vinegar and red food color.
It contains less amount of chocolate as compared to chocolate cake. 
Red velvet cake is frosted with cream cheese, and the crushed leftovers of the cake are decorated on the sides of the cake.

⦁ Two and a half cups of all-purpose flour
⦁ Two pinches of baking soda
⦁ 2 and half teaspoon Baking Powder
⦁ 1 cup of Canola or other Vegetable oil
⦁ 1 tsp of vanilla essence
⦁ One and a half cups of granulated sugar
⦁ Three large eggs, at room temperature
⦁ 1/2 cup of butter at room temperature
⦁ Butter milk as required (room temperature). Use to soften the batter.
⦁ Red food color 1 tsp
⦁ Vinegar  1 tsp
⦁ Cocoa powder 1 cup
Red Velvet Frosting:
3 cups  confectioners sugar, plus an extra 1/4 cup if needed to make frosting thick
⦁ 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3 cups of Heavy cream for whipping
How to proceed:
Grease the cake pan of 10 inch with cooking oil or clarified butter and preheat the oven to 350°F and
Mix the red food color in 1 tsp of water and set aside.
Now whisk the dry ingredients flour, Cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda, and set aside these ingredients.
STEP 4 :
Then in a separate bowl beat the butter on high speed using a beater or mixer, until it gets smooth and creamy. Now add sugar and beat on high speed until it gets creamed together. Now add the eggs and the vanilla extract or essence. 
Now turn the mixer on low speed, add the dry ingredients in three parts alternating with the buttermilk and mix each part until evenly mixed well.
 Do not overmix otherwise; it may ruin the cake. Your batter will be slightly thick. The consistency is good, but avoid lumps in it.
In last, add red food color half teaspoon in the batter and mix well.
Now pour the cake batter into the greased cake mold( round or square) and spread it. You have to bake it for 45-50 minutes in a cooking pot or preheated oven. Baking times vary and may differ in ovens and cooking pots, so keep an eagle eye on yours.
Cake is baked evenly if a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. If you find the top of the cake browning too quickly in the oven, you can loosely cover it with aluminum foil or lower the temperature of the upper rod.
In last, remove the cake from the oven and place it on a cooling rack. Let it cool down for several minutes. After 45 to 55 minutes, you can place it in the refrigerator too if its needed..
Frosting Procedure:
1: Using the electric beater, beat the whipping cream on high speed in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. 
2: Now add 3 cups of granulated sugar, vanilla essence, and salt and beat it on low speed for 30 seconds, then switch to high speed and then beat again for 2 minutes. 
3: The extra 1/4 cup of confectioners sugar can be added if you want the frosting to be thicker. Apply the frosting with a spatula to the cake. 
4: Decorate the cake top using cake decoration nozzles.
5: Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving. It will set the frosting and makes cutting easier.
Preparation and freezing instructions: 
When a cake is baked and cooled on room temperature , wrap dry sponge with plastic wrap tightly and place it in the freezer. When you have to serve it, take it out from the freezer and place in the refrigerator for about 8 to 9 hours. When the cake is thawed completely then you can frost it with your favourite toppings.
Can I bake a Bundt Red Velvet Cake
Yes, the bundt red velvet cake can be baked using the same batter. It will only differ in the mold. Instead of using a round cake mold, you will use a bundt cake mold.

Of course you can bake a cake using the same batter. Place the batter in the cupcake mold. You will bake perfect red velvet cupcakes. The baking time will differ. It will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes in baking depending on . You can make almost 22 to 23 cupcakes.
